Make one of these rustically beautiful Norway Pine (red pine) log beds the centerpiece of your mountain cabin bedroom. These log beds are available in 5 sizes – Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King. Choose between the “traditional” wood style (see ‘Additional Images’ tab) or for that more rustic furniture look, choose the “Rustic” wood style as shown in this photo.

This bed does not come with slats to hold the box spring and mattress, however, you can add a free-standing set of 3 slats.

The headboard and footboards are made of pine logs with single log side rails. Customize the look of your log bed by adding an extra log on the headboard, or raising the headboard and/or footboard six inches for extra height.

Hand-tooled with professional care

Hand and water peeling helps preserve the pine’s beautiful grain, rustic knots, and unique color variation. All logs have been dried naturally and may have worm tracking, cracks, and checks. This adds to the natural beauty of the wood and also gives each piece its character. Cracks and checks do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. All of the rustic log furniture is hand-sanded as a wall, and the ends are tenoned to enforce rigid construction. This rustic furniture is built to last, and we know you will enjoy it for years to come.

Rustic vs. Traditional

Rustic is a wood that was either a dead-standing tree or a log lying on the ground with the bark on for quite some time, allowing for worm tracking and colorful characteristics to be added to the log itself. Traditional is your fresh tree cut and peeled immediately to preserve the natural blonde look. You may choose which fits your decor.
