This handcrafted chest features:
– Non-slamming hinges, which are concealed European Style for a clean, uncluttered look – clear-coat catalyzed lacquer finish for lasting durability
– aromatic cedar-lined bottom

The wood used to craft this beautiful and unique furniture is from recovered fallen pine trees in the Rocky Mountains. The “blue stain” is a result of microscopic blue stain fungus that has a symbiotic relationship with bark beetles. The “blue stain” is not always blue, the discoloration shades caused by the fungus can range from blue to brown, gray to orange, or purple to red. The performance and strength of the lumber is not compromised by the fungus staining.
The works of nature such as scoring, tracking, spots, dots, natural decay, along with the effects and coloration from aging, enhances this natural wood. Dimensional lumber gives you a continual contrast of color, texture, and patterns.

This handcrafted item generally ships within 5 weeks. As with most of our rustic furniture, this item has free curbside delivery to the lower 48 states! To keep costs down, there will be only one freight driver for your delivery. The freight driver is not obligated to unload your blanket chest from the truck, so recommend that you have at least 2 strong people to unload your chest from the truck to the ground.
