Each piece of rustic Amish furniture in this line by Montana Woodworks is handcrafted in America. The logs used to create these rustic masterpieces are harvested in a sustainable manner by selecting “dead-standing” Lodgepole Pine. The logs are then skip-peeled by hand to remove the outer bark, and most of the inner bark (cambium) for a subtle contrast and increased texture. The customer then has the option of buying unfinished pieces, or with a durable lacquer finish.
